Post Annual general Meeting Board update

Your Board for the next year met the day after our well-attended AGM. The primary purpose of the first meeting of the incoming Board is to designate specific positions per our By-Laws, which are:

President - Teresa Joki

Vice President - Bryce Paton

Secretary - Ann Beniuk

Treasurer - Jocelyne Bérubé

Each Board member also takes on oversight for various responsibilities such as Community/Government liaison, Host/Collector Coordination, Other Volunteer Coordination, Registrar, Specific Project Management planning, Website/IT Support, Communications and more. Meeting minutes will be posted with full details of the many hats your Board members stepped up to wear; and other initiatives and issues under discussion.

The Board meets monthly year-round with Emergent meetings when needed.

Price quotes are pending for the installation of lights for two courts initially, subject to budget approval from the Board.

The burden of one person taking responsibility for all court and property improvement projects is not sustainable. We welcome members with the time, expertise and ability to commit to being on-site when projects get underway to let us know.

The Board expressed much appreciation to everyone who attended the AGM, the respectful dialogue and positive affirmation of the progress of the past year in addition to current process improvements at the courts.
