Court allocation
I was at the court this morning and there seemed to be a bit of confusion with the signage. Someone took it upon themselves to add verbiage to the signs which I am sure they were trying to help but it did not. If you find the signage confusing let the board know so we can adjust it. I did go back today and added more verbiage in marker stating “up next” by the arrowhead. I will be changing some of the signs arrows as soon as I can get them laminated so hang in there, I have heard the feedback.
Court 1 is for open play so anyone can play on it. If you want to play as a group of 4 then you stack your paddles and stacking paddles rules apply. This goes for any level of player.
Court 2 lower intermediate if this court is not in use by that group, then the upper and advanced group can alternate using it however after each game, they must check to make sure there are no lower intermediate paddles waiting to use it.
I have asked the collectors to reiterate this information at the courts when they are there. However, not everyone may be comfortable doing that but if a collector is trying to keep things moving respect that they are just the messenger.
We are all working very hard to make things run as smoothly as possible.
Lastly, we need everyone to pay to play. All funds go directly to improving the courts so that benefits all of us.
