A message from our Volunteer Coordinator, Pauline Landry:
Buenos Dias Pickleball Guayabitos Members!
On behalf of the Board and all players I would like to
thank the following volunteers for helping as Hosts and/
or Collectors since the start of the season:
Jocelyne, Trish, Annette, Karen, Patty, Teresa, Donna,
Mari, Ann, Bryce, Pauline, Marie, Mindy, Henri, Geordie,
Martha and Marcel.
With the New Year approaching and many more players
joining us, we need to fill these positions for January. As
those on the Board are doing a terrific amount of work
behind the scenes year long, it is preferable to have
others step up to these positions. Once a week for a
couple of hours is a commitment we can all afford to
make our Club run efficiently. Collecting dues is
something non players can do. Perhaps you have a
partner who can help out or you’re not able to play every
day.
Training for Hosts is being offered by those with
more experience. Let me know which day of the week
mornings approx 7:00-9:30 and we’re still looking for
collectors in the afternoons. There will be a sign up board
at the courts.
Also many thanks to our Maintenance volunteers who
have put in many hours at the courts: Roberto and Patty,
Jocelyne and Stu (Paul), Rick (Ann’s husband), Gary and
Teresa, Paul, René, Enrique, Rex, Marion, Rick (Donna’s
husband). Add your name to this list for future odd jobs.
